A Full Week on MyWW+

This week I decided to do something that now feels a little insane... I filmed my entire week on MyWW+ and decided I was going to share everything from this week with y'all! Everything I ate, my water intake, my mistakes, my feelings, my step count, all of it.

I've always been very open about my health journey and so I don't know why this week is making me nervous. I think it's because it is the most detailed and lengthy look into my health journey I've given. It also was NOT a "good" MyWW week. I went significantly over my weeklies, and though I've stopped eating gluten because of my intolerance, I did eat normal pizza this week. These aren't things I'm "ashamed" of, but they are certainly things I acknowledge that people are going to point out and be like - "well that's why you aren't losing weight" even though I fully acknowledged that in the video... People are mean, that's just facts. I will never be able to post a video about the food I eat and my health journey without the risk of some asshole on the internet being an asshole on the internet, but I can't let that stop me. I've always been honest with y'all and I committed to this week being a week I shared, so here we go!

My MyWW week starts on Wednesday! I started this week on a really good note because I had lost 7.8 pounds the week before (my first week back on MyWW). I knew I wasn't going to lose anywhere near that much this week (and didn't want to), but it still was a good place to start from mentally!

As you'll see every day this week - I am obsessed with Alani Nu energy drinks! They are 0 points and super delicious, so I start my day with one of those!

This day I had some "Gigi Hadid" pasta leftover to eat so I had that for my "brunch" and then ordered myself some take-out thai food for dinner! To make that Thai food go further I added some broccoli and two eggs for 0 points each, and 1 point of sweet chili sauce.

For my snacks I was really craving chocolate so I had a sugar free pudding cup and some chocolate covered strawberry cheerios!

Alright... Thursday... Thursday was interesting. I woke up late so for brunch I had beefed-up pad thai leftovers and an energy drink. Starting strong!

Then for dinner I had a 2 point meal of sweet potato, chicken and onion dip! It was absolutely delicious!

Then I decided I wanted dessert... and the only thing that sounded good? A 60 POINT PIZOOKIE... I mean, when do pizookies not sound good? But they are super high point.

But you know what? That is okay! Had I denied myself that pizookie, who knows what I would've snacked on instead! There is nothing wrong with treating yourself every once in awhile (and this week was a little bit treat heavy... oh well!)!

It was delicious and I have not a single regret!

Friday was a good day! I started out with a DELICIOUS 8 point breakfast sandwich made up of the random things in my fridge that sounded good. It was GF Hawaiian Sweet Bread with turkey sausage, shredded hash browns, scrambled eggs and onion dip. And of course... an energy drink!

For lunch I had the same 2 point meal I had for dinner the night before, but added some broccoli for some more veggies and because I was pretty hungry!

Dinner was take out Friday night! I had some enchiladas and chips and queso for 25 points and still stayed in my healthy eating zone!

I love when a good takeout night still can stay in my points!

Friday was a good day!

Saturday was another good day! I got up and had an energy drink and protein shake for breakfast while I waited for my drive up grocery shop to be done!

For lunch I made a fresh batch of my favorite "Gigi Hadid" pasta (I make it slightly differently) and promptly ate two servings of it. That stuff is good y'all! I added chicken and spinach to this batch to make it even more satisfying!

Then of course... I had it again for dinner!

And I still had a decent amount of points left so I had a sugar free pudding and still was going to have some left over to be rollovers... but then my sister was ordering dairy queen and was like "yup... I want a mini blizzard" (which by the way are ADORABLE), so I had some ice cream as well. But still wasn't that much over my healthy eating zone for the day, so all in all a good time!

Sunday was another pasta heavy day (what can I say? I'm a #pastaqueen)!

For my snack that day I had a dilly bar which still surprises me that they are only 11 points!

And then for dinner I had a riff on my sweet potato dinner, but this time for 0 points!

This meal was sweet potato, chicken, broccoli and G Hughes Sugar Free BBQ sauce! I love barbecue chicken, so this was a nice treat!

I feel a little bad that there wasn't a ton of variety in this week, but it was just a pasta and sweet potato kind of week.

I promise I'll switch it up a little in my next full day/week of eating! I promise!

Monday was a weird day because we were doing our belated Christmas celebration with my god brother, his wife and my niece and nephews (I know, super late, it's how we roll!).

I had a big lunch of zero point foods to make sure I was fairly full before I went over because I wasn't sure what dinner was going to be like pointwise and wanted to make sure I didn't overindulge.

Well my sister in law ended up picking up Papa Murphy's Pizza for us all. I hadn't had Papa Murphy's in forever (because I'm lazy and like other people to bake the pizza for me, let's be real), but it was really delicious and surprisingly low point! I felt like I had a. ton of pizza and it was only 31 points, so not bad at all for how much I ate!

I was able to have all that pizza and a bit of wine and still be only a few points above my healthy eating zone. Good deal for me!

Tuesday was rough... because of the pizza (no regrets though). I had been really good at not eating gluten and so my body was angry at me. Luckily I just have an intolerance not Celiac (if I had celiac my family wouldn't have risked the normal pizza for me, don't worry, they don't want to kill me) and so it wasn't the end of the world, but it wasn't very fun. I could get anything down until about 2pm.

And even then I wasn't sure, so I had a protein shake and ordered myself enchiladas because I thought that if I had some of my favorite foods I might be able to eat something, and luckily it worked!

Then my mom ordered Thai food and so I had a little bit of that.

So it was a weird day, but the food I did eat was delicious!

Okay, so this week really was just pad thai, enchiladas, chicken, sweet potatoes, onion dip and pasta... but honestly those are some of my favorite foods so I'm not that mad about it.

I did use double my weeklies, which isn't great. But I'm not going to beat myself up because it was a weird week. The nice thing about MyWW is that it is so easy to just keep going even if you have a rough day (or week...). I did gain 0.5 pounds this week, but because I had a decent amount of sugar and then some gluten, I'm shocked it wasn't more of a gain, so again, I'm not going to beat myself up over that!

Now FitPoints are something I'm just now trying to figure out so I'm not super sure how to talk about them or how they are calculated. I earned 22 this week, but this week was a fairly stay at home, relaxing or working kind of week. Lot's of sitting at my computer. Here was my step count for each day (it's shameful... haha):

Wednesday: 1,431

Thursday: 1,875

Friday: 1,561

Saturday: 2,134

Sunday: 2,488

Monday: 4,213

Tuesday: 1,605

My goals for next week are below

  1. Get better sleep. I slept terribly this week.

  2. Hit at least 5,000 steps a day. Even if it means doing stairs at the end of the day.

  3. DO NOT USE ALL MY WEEKLIES.

Be sure to head over to YouTube to check out the video to see some of this delicious food!

xo,

Kayla
